January 2019 Print

From the President

I’m pleased to act as your president to help build a stronger and more valuable FPA-Wisconsin in 2019!  We may have a challenging year ahead as FPA National moves toward their “OneFPA” organization. (More information here: OneFPA Dec18).

But, your board will remain focused on serving you by providing high-quality experiences for the CFP professional, education events to help you better serve your clients and business, networking events to help advance your career, and pro bono events to serve our community.

Our first event of the New Year is the January 29th Member Meeting. This half-day meeting (for just $39!) is focused on education planning, and includes seminars on saving for education, young adult financial literacy, and managing student loans (all for CE credit!). Click here to register for the meeting.

We are always looking for FPA members to get involved through board committees and helping at events. Contact Shannon Nook, Volunteer Director at [email protected] if you’d like to step up.

If you have questions, concerns or ideas, or just want to get involved, contact the appropriate board member below, or you can always contact me directly at [email protected], 414-975-6016.

Here’s to a prosperous 2019!
