As the population ages, more and more advisors will be working with an older segment of the population.  Advisors must be able to help these clients plan financially, but also should be cognizant of the additional challenges an aging population faces, including capacity issues.  When there are concerns about capacity, advisors should know what steps are available for them and their clients to protect them from a legal and financial perspective.

This virtual event is designed to help the advisor evaluate legal, financial and insurance considerations when a client may be experiencing diminished capacity.  The session will also provide resources to professionals when they are concerned about a client’s capacity.

Collaborative learning is where a problem is presented and you and your peers jointly develop solutions. Not only are you hearing ideas and solutions, you’re sharing them. You’ll work with attorneys, CPAs, Financial Planners, Insurance and Risk Management experts and perhaps talented experts you never considered.

A few days prior to the event you will receive a confirmation notice with the case study. During the virtual event you’ll be randomly assigned to a breakout room and collaboratively your group will discuss concerns and develop solutions.  We’ll share findings and hear from our expert Avery J. The virtual event will get started at 3:00 pm and everything will wrap up by 4:30 pm.
